Caryn and Cooper met just as Caryn was preparing to move to London. They agreed to keep things casual. After all, she was moving across the world. Naturally, life had other plans.

They said their goodbyes the week before her departure since Cooper was traveling for work the day she left. But after a series of flight delays on Caryn’s side and a last-minute decision to come home early by Cooper’s boss, Cooper found himself racing from Moffett Airfield to SFO.

He arrived just in time for Caryn to check her bags and say one final goodbye. What was meant to be a quick farewell in the airport parking lot turned into a longer conversation, and ultimately a decision to try long distance.
